Bakalaki

Hummus and Tyrokafteri

Verdict: Walk

Cool place to visit when you’re craving Greek food in Singapore. Beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere. Calamari (kalamari on the menu) is a must try, but the rest is skippable, especially when you look at value for money.

Comments:

  • Beautiful decor, definitely felt like an elegant atmosphere.

  • First time having Tyrokafteri - spicy feta cheese spread with Greek yogurt & roasted red peppers - delicious and would order again.

  • Wasn’t blown away by the beef skewer souvlaki and the spanakopitas. Will be skipping next time we visit.

  • Their kalamari was definitely the star of the show. We’ve never had it prepared this way and we’ve eaten our fair share of calamari. It looks like it was deep fried but inside was perfectly cooked and so tender.

  • The baklavi was a good way to end the meal. It was bigger than expected, but also skippable on the next visit.

  • Overall, it’s a great option when you’re craving Greek food in Singapore, but value for money isn’t quite there for us to come back frequently.
