We stumbled upon Brian's Coffee unexpectedly and were immediately drawn in by the appealing spread.
We were impressed by the variety of baked goods: financiers, egg tarts (uniquely styled), madeleines, cannelés, croissants, and scones. We limited ourselves to one Earl Grey cannelé and a chocolate-covered scone.
Surprised by the scone's quality: we expected it to be overly sweet but found it perfectly balanced between sweet and savoury with great texture! How pleasant.
…chocolate smeared all over our mouths and not wanting the moment to end, we regret not trying more items like the bain-marie and possibly their coffee and chocolate.
