Served warm, the tang yuan were the perfect “Q” texture to hold in the oozing fillings. They’ve got the consistency down to the tee.

Comments:

  • A little tough to find, but look for the queue. Local favourite for dependable traditional Chinese desserts. The nostalgia is there.

  • Very small shop with limited seating, but turnover is quick. Take out options available with a few benches outside the shop.

  • As typical asian sweets go, it was sweet but not too sweet.

  • Safest to bring some cash with you.

  • Will be back to try more of their wide variety of traditional desserts!
