  • Be prepared to wait & bring cash

  • It was daunting to begin with, especially with the language barrier, but we detail the step by step process below.

  • TLDR: We asked to do a few slices of sashimi and the rest in a chirashi bowl - mixing 2 cuts: medium fatty & lean.

  • It was mesmerizing to watch the master sushi maker prepare the final forms

  • The key part that separated this sushi from everything else we’ve ever had was the rice. It was the best sushi rice we’ve ever had - that toasted sesame with the texture was perfection. We’ll be dreaming about this for years to come.

Steps to ordering at Kurogin Tuna Store:

Step 1: Determine which part of the tuna you want - i.e. lean, medium, fatty. Choose size of your selected cut. Cost is labelled on the package.
