Comments:
Osulloc is recognized as a prestigious tea brand in Korea, prompting our visit to their Bukchon location, renowned for its serenity and adherence to traditional aesthetics.
The setup of the tea house is meticulously designed for relaxation, spread across three levels: merchandise on the first, the tea house on the second, and a tea cocktail bar on the third.
The main area is the second floor, where the tea service occurs. After ordering, customers receive a buzzer to notify them when their tea is ready. Jeremy and I chose the mugwort tea and Camellia flower tea, the latter being a signature of Jeju and a key offering of Osulloc.
The menu boasted a vast array of teas, including some exclusives to this location, leading our friend to purchase the oven-baked green tea.
Alongside our teas, we indulged in a mochi-based dessert, ingeniously shaped like local roof tiles, served with green tea ice cream, honey, berry compote, and whipped cream.
The tea service was an art form here, with each order accompanied by an hourglass and specific steeping instructions, ensuring the perfect brew.
Our experience suggested that while the Bukchon location offers a tranquil tea experience, the Osulloc establishment in Jeju stands out as a nice destination for visitors.
