Otto’s Bistro

Chiraishi bowl

Verdict: Walk

Nice Japanese restaurant on the main street of Mont-Royal. We like the food here but think their sister restaurant is much better.

Comments:

  • We celebrated Celine’s birthday here! We wanted to try the sister restaurant to Bar Otto (but this one is the OG one)

  • Cute small Japanese spot in the lower Plateau, but to be honest, we think Bar Otto is a better vibe and has better food

  • Our favourite dish was just a classic chiraishi plate which had incredibly fresh assortments of salmon, ikura, tuna, and other fish

  • The mazeman dish (kind of like ramen noodles but made in a wet sauce style) was not as good as the one we had at Bar Otto

Karaage

Ikura Mazeman (salmon eggs)
