Pretty much unlimited seafood for such a good price. I liked the electricity in the air with motorbikes and people everywhere while you’re having your meal right on the street. Food comes quick and it’s great drinking fare.

Streetside eating

Item: Lemongrass Clams in Broth, Coconut Milk Snails, Scallops in the Shell, Small Snails, Crab Arms, Peanuts, Corn with Butter, Duck Fetus Eggs

Cost: ~$10 CAD (200k VND) per person for pretty much all you can eat

Comments:

  • I loved the energy on this street in District 4; it gets super busy at night and most of the restaurants are seafood ones

  • It’s one of those spots where you sit on a small stool and table and get that authentic Vietnamese eating experience

  • We had a table of 8 of us so it allowed us to order a ton of variety of dishes and share amongst us - everyone ate until they were full

  • I recommend this spot if you are into seafood and want that local experience + willing to go outside of District 1

  • Some of the seafood was a little tougher (less finesse on the cooking) such as the scallops but at least everything is fully cooked

  • My favourite things were the snails in white coconut sauce (don’t have a pic), crab, and the duck eggs
