Comments:

  • One of the many matcha vendors lining the streets of Komachi-dori Street in Kamakura, filled with an endless stream of people.

  • We loved this warabi when we had it in Kyoto’s Nishiki Market. It was one of our ultimate favourite desserts. Somehow we didn’t enjoy it to the same level this time around on the skewer.

  • Great ice cream & warabi, but they’re a bit of a commodity in the area.

    • Ice cream was definitely a stronger matcha flavour than typical. Good balance of bitter and sweet. Smooth (no crystal texture, which is a plus).

    • Warabi had great texture - the right firmness.

  • English friendly shop.
