Singapore Airlines Business Class A380

Run

Braised beef

Verdict: Run

If you are flying business class, this is the go to standard. “Book the cook” is such an experience and you’re getting top notch food high up in the air. The best of the best that you can get thousands of feet in the air.

Comments:

  • The food was very very good, all things considered (i.e. we are in the air 10s of thousands of ft up in the air)

  • They were able to make the majority of the food taste dang good, so I was super impressed by Singapore Airlines

  • Fav items to eat were the chicken satay canapés, the braised beef from Book the Cook for lunch, and the prawn wonton soup from Book the Cook breakfast

  • The wine selection is much better than other airlines I’ve flown… and over the course of the 12.5h flight, I probably had 6-7 alcoholic beverages

  • The most amazing non-alcoholic drink I found was a Silver Moon Tea by TWG and I asked for it iced = such incredible flavour and so refreshing // it’s described as “A green tea blend accented with grand berry and vanilla bouquet. It is a tea for that special moment, with richness in antioxidants and nutrients.”
Food-wise, SIA is a top notch airline
