A treasure of Yarra Valley
Brett walked us through each of the 7 wines in the tasting. Even though we were all rather familiar with grape varietals and wine-making, we were shocked to learn about Savarro - the grandfather to the more familiar Chenin Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, and Cab Franc (amongst others)
We were blown away with the quality of these wines and at such a reasonable price. We picked up 3 bottles, but would have picked up more if we hadn’t been flying out in the next few days
Wish we had time to just sip and sit looking out to the mountains & vineyard. A beautiful landscape we’ll be back to savour.
