One of our favourite spots in all SF. Owners are super cool but more importantly the quality of food and drink is all thoughtful and incredible. We love this place and even have t-shirts to show for it.

Comments:

• SPRO, short for espresso - these guys really know their coffee; the owner is actually from Richmond Hill in Toronto and we bonded over the fact that we were both from Canada

• It’s a real coffee aficionado’s place where the owners came from fine dining backgrounds but also used to run R&D at Blue Bottle - the story goes that they didn’t have enough creative freedom to do what they wanted so they decided to start their own coffee shop —> it is now where the real coffee goers go for joe

• It’s a cute, charming corner shop in the Mission/Dolores/Castro area and I would frequent going there when I lived in the area

• The team there started experimenting with offering wine in the evenings and we got a chance to participate in one of their grand opening tests for social nights

• I highly recommend getting the food, pastries, and other baked goods on top of just the coffee because everything is so well done to insane spec
