Verdict: Walk

Good but expensive Peranakan food. We think there is better value for money out elsewhere. Although dishes were tasty & the dining experience was good, we felt that portions were lacking for the price point and transparency of costs for certain items were not clear.

Comments:

  • Awesome immersive experience in the Peranakan culture due to the artwork and furniture.

  • Felt a little jipped at the end when we saw the tea & shrimp crackers on the receipt because it hadn’t been made clear that it wasn’t complimentary. Otherwise friendly & attentive service.

  • Appreciated that the aunty & uncles took the time to explain the dishes beyond what was listed in the menu.
