예약 YeYak Korean Restaurant

Run

Table full of food

Verdict: Run

If only YeYak was at a location that was easier to access, we’d be the ultimate frequenter. Every single dish we ordered was delicious, but the seafood pancake, braised short ribs, & spicy stir-fried chicken dishes with the added carbs were the favourites of the night.

Braised short ribs with rice cakes - favourite of the night

Comments:

  • Not the easiest place to access or find, but the food is certainly worth it once you do. Everything was delicious.

  • We loved the choice to sit cross-legged on cushions & the plush lion decor pieces.

  • Ordered their set for 5-6 people and with the added carbs in the leftover sauces, everyone left with very happy and full stomachs.

  • Seafood pancake was out of this world. Was so happy to find one that’s closer than Australia (check out our review on Jang Gun if you’re ever in Melbourne).

  • We had heard a lot of hype about the spicy stir-fried chicken, and they were spot on. AND when you’re done, they’ll add fried rice or noodles & recook it to make sure no sauce goes to waste. We chose to add fried rice and my gosh it was delicious.

  • The braised short rib was by far the favourite of the night though. Definitely add rice cakes in to be a vehicle for the sauce. The right amount of chewy! Then, when you’re done, order extra noodles to mix into the leftover sauce (not something they automatically offer unlike the spicy chicken). Our friend who usually doesn’t like Asian food insisted.
