Comments:

  • Jvo has been in his beer phase, with a mission to try every stout in his path. 33 Acres had his favourite stout of this trip - 33 ACRES OF DARKNESS - SCHWARZBIER

    • Refreshing plus a great depth of flavour, easily chuggable and somehow, 1 pint always turned to 3…

    • He loved it so much that we had to bookend the trip with visits to both locations

  • I’m still in my exploratory beer phase and Vancouver has always been a great teacher in this area - so many breweries to choose from! So far I’ve been gravitating to the light beers and sours. From the Baby Azacca, French Blanche, Mezcal Gose, and the Cranberry Sour, my favourite was the Baby Azacca.

  • Chocolate from BETA 5 was delicious - crunchy sponge toffee went well with our beer selections (stout, ale, and French blanche). Definitely something I’d give as a gift or as a rare treat

  • LOVE the vibe here. Minimalist modern meets experimental lab. My vibes. And great merch available

  • Looking forward to the next time that we go, especially for the hot dog nights. Looked like reasonable prices for a fair sized compliment to the beers
