Ikan Ikan

Fermented rice dessert (not on menu)

Verdict: Walk

Higher-end Malay food with a nice dining experience. Lovely food but felt like there could be better value for money. If at Four Seasons resort, consider it if in the area.

Young mango salad with chicken lemongrass skewers

Comments:

  • It was such a joy to experience Malaysian food through Chef Adee’s vision - such complexity and balance in the adept usage of spices

  • Chef Adee chose these dishes specifically to give a rounded experience of traditional Malaysian food - the chicken lemongrass skewers were my absolutely favourite

  • One can’t fully enjoy the seaside experience without indulging in the fresh and delicious seafood!

  • The dessert was quite unique with its slight rice-wine flavours countered with the not-too-sweet honeycomb ice cream. Never would have ordered this off a menu before, but my mind has been changed.
