What’s insane is that you get a bag of complimentary peanuts, then as you eat it, you take the shells and just throw them on the ground = apparently this is because in the old times the rich people could do what they wanted so this would be a sign of wealth and power
It’s worth coming to at least once to experience this place and walk around the beautiful Raffles Hotel grounds
You don’t need to spend a ton of time here but the history makes it worthy of a visit
