So signaturely Singapore. Whenever I get a visitor from out of town, this is definitely a spot I bring them to because of how iconic Satay Street is.

From an experience POV, it does not get much better than this
They transform a busy street and block it off from cars into one that has these outdoor stools and tables so that you can eat and indulge to your heart’s desire
We got an assortment of meats and prawns - all of them were absolutely delicious as they were cooked over a nice charcoal fire so you really get that smokey-ness to pair with the sweet peanut satay sauce
It felt like you were no longer in “developed” singapore and transplanted to a different part of south east asia = vendors were coming up to you, random people are selling you tissues, there’s smoke everywhere, pints of beer everywhere - it was amazing
