Loirette beer (hard to find)

Verdict: Walk

Trying to be a French bistro but not so pretentious about it. Incorporates some hip elements with a vast, innovative wine menu. We like the atmosphere and would frequent in the summer when in the area.

Comments:

  • This spot is the latest creation of the owner of Uncle Mikey’s

  • It was here where I first discovered Loirette - a beer made in Touraine region of the Loire Valley by natural winemakers (so it kind of drinks like one) = it’s insanely good and we cleaned them out of it

  • Burger and fries is the way to go for a spot like this; you need something that can hold up to the exorbitant amount of liquor you will consume throughout the night —> I also think it’s the best tasting thing with the best value for money on the menu

  • Staff very knowledgeable about wine and easy to recommend you something in the shop

  • Big fan of the outdoor patio during the summers where you can hang out and enjoy the sunlight overlooking the street
