An unassuming restaurant that ended up being one of Sneezy’s favourite dishes in all of Japan. Hearty, comforting tsukemen dipping ramen with a unique spin to the broth with curry and coconut milk.

Quaint location that could only fit <10 people at a time
This place is pretty centrally located in Kyoto but in an unassuming alleyway so you might have to search a bit to find it
This was a new life experience for C, where she had never tried the dipping ramen (called Tsukemen) before… she is a convert now!
There was a beautiful richness to the broth with a nice coconut undertone to the curry which was a pleasant surprise to see in Japanese cuisine
The noodles got so much great flavour being dipped and Celine could not stop talking about how good / memorable these noodles were throughout our Japan trip
