Best cocktail bar I’ve seen in Taipei. Super unique drinks but moreover the experience is one of a kind with the kindest hospitality from the staff. Run here.

Didn’t realize that when we’d take to Taiwan, Outer Space would be a pit stop. Number 52 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, they’ve impressively executed space theme without being kitschy. It gives off speakeasy vibes, especially since the front door can be easily missed.
Reed created custom mocktails based on our preferred tastes and they were delicious! A sign of in depth understanding and talent. It was a consensus that we could listen to him speak Mandarin all day - it was like he was reciting poetry…
Highly recommend ordering the Interstellar - it’s an experience. Liquid nitrogen was used to cool down the glass right in front of our eyes. You hear the fizz escape as Reed opened the drink bottle, then he pours and the drink lights up. Video on our Instagram for full effect.
Little disappointed that there wasn’t a similar show for the other cocktails, but the taste factor was still there.
Culture tip: Majority of sit down places in Taiwan require a minimum spend per person in the group. Here was no different, min was 400 NT (~$16 CAD) per person
