Jigujian Tea House

Run

The best bubble tea in the world

Probably the best bubble tea we’ve had in our lives. We keep thinking about this place and how good it was. It’s not a Fly because of the other aspects like food and atmosphere, but overall a very solid pick. We will be back for sure.

Comments:

  • Who would have guessed that the first bubble tea we had in Taiwan would be the best so far (out of at least 10 bubble tea spots). The bubbles had the best q texture - chewy, soft and sweet, but not too much. And the froth - we didn’t know what we were missing all our years of drinking bubble tea. Bubble tea will never be the same for us ever again.

  • To top it off, Jigujuan Tea House (集客人間茶館) has been the only place we’ve gone to multiple times on our trip. That says something.

  • The food was also a hit - delicious, filling, and healthy. Grill or boil your choice of meet (lamb, beef, pork, and chicken), while snacking on the little bowls of pickled radish, kimchi, and seaweed (miyeok). Don’t forget to drink up the savoury soup after you’re done!

    • Don’t be afraid to ask for soup top-ups if it looks like you’re running low or a new fuel canister.

  • They had a wide selection of other foods including traditional Taiwanese dishes like blood rice cake (below).

  • The coolest part was seeing the local aunties & uncles just hanging out and playing round after round of cards. No time limit, just enjoy your food & company

  • We can’t wait to come back for more frothy bubble tea.
