Comments:
The Osulloc Tea Museum in Jeju was a highly anticipated highlight of our trip, celebrated for its vast green tea gardens and on-site tea cultivation.
The museum offers more than just exhibits; it includes a cafe and a shop, providing a holistic tea experience.
Time constraints from our tour limited our exploration, but we prioritized visiting the cafe, where, despite our early arrival, some desired items like the cherry blossom green tea mousse cake were already sold out.
We opted for the soft serve green tea set, featuring a green tea frappe with ice cream and a famous wafer cookie, and also tried the recommended Swiss roll filled with mascarpone cream.
I found the green tea soft serve to be my favorite for its rich flavor, whereas Jeremy preferred the frappe's icy texture.
Given more time, we would have loved to explore more menu items, ideally spending several hours there.
Our visit concluded with shopping for exclusive teas, including a special mugwort tea for Jeremy, reminiscent of his prior experience at Osulloc's Seoul location.
The tour of the museum's educational displays, showcasing tea processing and the conveyor lines, rounded off our enriching visit, cementing the Osulloc Tea Museum as a must-see in Jeju.
