Söt Coffee Roasters

Pour coffee over ice for cold version

Verdict: Walk

Söt Coffee Roasters certainly know their coffee. Great cafe with working space, great desserts, & strong coffee, but coffee culture is so strong in Osaka that it’s hard to separate it from the pack.

Comments:

  • Coffee lovers, you’re in good company when you’re at Söt Coffee Roasters. They search the world for the best coffee beans - and have won a few awards to prove it.

  • Love the vibes of this cafe. For Instagrammers and workers alike.

  • Staff were incredibly friendly & able to interact in both Japanese & English.

  • Japan has such a strong cafe culture that the standard is to have fantastic coffee. So, even though we’re saying this is a walk, you really can’t go wrong with a coffee from here.

  • Matcha basque cheesecake was amazing - J is not a fan of cheesecake, but he’d come back for this one.

  • Cool that they provided half of the coffee in a separate beaker in case you wanted to try it when cold as well. Did you know the temperature of the coffee changes the flavour notes?

  • Ethiopia Guji Uraga Tobutu Tuta G1 was more palatable for me when cold, whereas the Panama Carmen Geisha was preferably enjoyed when warm.
